This project began as a referral — always a great compliment. The client was the sister of a former customer, and she reached out to us shortly after getting a new dog. Her backyard fence was in poor shape, and she needed a new one installed quickly and with care.

We started by demoing the existing fence and hauling off the debris. In its place, we built a sturdy cedar board-on-board privacy fence, complete with a top cap, new gates, and high-quality gate hardware. One important detail: we stained the cedar before installation. That way, if the wood moved or flexed with weather, there would be no exposed, unstained areas — a small step that makes a big difference in long-term appearance and durability.

After finishing, we discovered a loose board and a sticky gate latch. We promptly returned to address both, ensuring the fence functioned exactly as it should. While onsite, we also noticed an exposed electrical line running to her sprinkler control box in the garage. Concerned that her dog might chew on it, we protected the wire with new conduit for safety.

Shortly after we wrapped up the fence, the client contacted us again. She was having issues with her hot water heater and also needed a new dishwasher. After inspecting the system, we determined the water heater needed to be replaced — which we handled quickly — and we installed a new Bosch 100 Series 24” Built-In Dishwasher (Model: SHE3AEM5N) in her kitchen.

Her kind words say it all:

“I recently had the pleasure of working with White Stag Construction, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. From start to finish, their team demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. They completed the project on time and within budget, while maintaining excellent communication throughout the entire process. The craftsmanship was top-notch, and the quality of work exceeded my expectations. They took the time to address all my questions and ensured that every aspect of the job was done to perfection. Sam Jones was easy to work with and made sure the work was completed and was excellent. Thank you!”

This is the kind of work — and the kind of relationship — we strive for on every project.

Every project is an opportunity to build something lasting—both in craftsmanship and in trust. We’re proud to be the team clients call again, whether it’s for a fence, a water heater, or the unexpected details in between.
