A builder-grade master bath gets a sophisticated refresh with layered materials, improved layout, and warmth throughout.

Project Overview
What began as a dated, builder-grade master bathroom is now a refined and restful retreat. This transformation was all about improving function while layering in timeless finishes — giving our clients a space that feels both personal and polished.

What We Changed
We demoed the existing shower and opened the wall to full ceiling height, removing the old arch and replacing it with a clean bronze-framed glass panel. New tile, bronze fixtures, and soft lighting brought fresh energy into the space.
Where the tub once felt bulky and enclosed, we installed a freestanding tub with floor-mounted hardware. The change instantly made the room feel larger and more intentional.
Across the vanity, we updated the countertops to granite and refreshed the lighting to complement the warm undertones in the new palette. Simple changes that made a huge visual impact.
Materials & Mood
We leaned into texture and subtle contrast — the softness of the tile against the bronze glass, the richness of the granite paired with clean cabinetry. This palette creates a sense of calm while feeling elevated enough to carry the space.
A Space Reimagined
This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and modest layout tweaks can make a huge impact. The bathroom now feels open, warm, and worthy of a quiet soak at the end of a long day.
